Current apps are in the first tier. Removed, pending, or crashing apps are in second tier. Italics means it's commercial or paid, Bold means the app is/was free, nothing means it came with the Treo 600 or I have no clue.

Games

• Audible - Listen to "books on tape". My friends say I should just get an iPod, I say "so where's my Birthday present?"
• Backgammon - free with firmware update. Never understood this game.
• Bejeweled - leftover from my Palm m130 days, I paid, well worth it.
• Blocks - free tetris program
• Crystal Quest - you know you want this one...
• Dice Man - gives virtual 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, & 100-sided dice.
• Klondike - another solitaire games from my m130 days.
• Lines - Somehow I got this for free.
• Memorix - Fantastic memory game, with plenty of skins!
• MineHunt - found on an old install CD.
• Ptunes - MP3 player, selected as my freebee upon registration. Bought the headphone converter plug and a big SD card for tunes.
• Puzzle - found on an old install CD.
• Reader - came with the Franklin Covey CD, the 7 habits book, etc.
• Reversix - found on an old install CD. Othello Game.
• Shuffle - not sure where this came from.
• Sol Free - found on an old install CD. Solitaire.
• Tie Master - reminder for several tie knots.

• Bombel - no sound, so what good is popping the bubblewrap?
• Open Chess - buggy on my palm, no documentation, and I didn't have time to play archeologist. An open source project: very cool.
• Skinner - Changes the default buttons for the Phone app to something more Mac-like. Cool. Might buy it later.

Graphics

• DiddleBug - might replace the missing notepad app.
• Draw me - need something to replace the missing notepad, this isn't it. But it was free. Not to be confused with Draw Me.
• Kinoma - I show small training videos for my job, and can now show them on the spot. Very cool. I paid the $30US for the Producer media converter.
• mmPlayer - still checking it out. Got DVDs into the Treo with directions found here.
• Movie Rec - Using the Treo to record movies with sound is great. Still waiting for a Mac GUI converter that does sound.
• Pickem - Photo replacement program that tweaks the blue channel by pressing 'S', and does a software 2x zoom by pressing 'Z'. Clear the split screen by pressing 'S' after a zoom. Be sure to get the patched file.
• Pictures - native photo managment program.
• Qset (direct download link: right click, save as, and don't append) - makes the pictures bigger and better quality. Most of my stuff goes through the laptop, not Sprint Vision thanks to the SD card, so size is less important than quality.
• Sketcher - No manual here, evaluating as a notepad replacement. Allows color and different sized lines.
• Splash Photo - another carry over from the m130. Paid for it to have my 'wallet pics' and some job related training pics always with me. I have version 3, might update to 4.

• Treo Shutter - uses the volume keys to take the pic, useful for self portraits.
• Viewer III - old free version is not compatible with Palm OS 5. Graphic Converter will save in FireViewer format.

Office

• Adobe Reader - I still can't make this one useful.
• Calc - native calc program. Rarely used but nice after a long day and I get lazy.
• Calendar - native contact manager. Thank goodness for iSync!
• DayNotez - Natara has a great product, and with the Sprint 1.20 firmware I can record voice memos into a note. No Mac desktop app (frown), but they have an export utility.
• Documents - supposedly free with the Treo, but Sprint doesn't include it.
• File Locator - ???
• iNoah - Why carry a dictionary when you have a web-enabled phone? I got the lite version.
• Key Info - left over from my Franklin Covey install; keeps SSNs, credit card info, frequent flyer numbers with me and secure.
• Life Balance - I paid a few years ago, but it doesn't get much use. I guess that means I'm unbalanced.
• Mail - native pop mail program. Set to read all my mailboxes. Cool.
• Memopad - PalmOS standard text reader. Nice program.
• Phone - native phone app. Fairly smart and bug free. Crashes when changing time zones, might be from loading a patched version for better number keys.
• SiEd - Text editor that I use to write & edit web pages from the handheld.
• SMS - native text messaging. A cool app.
• SocSurvey - Develop portable surveys, tests, and checklists. With statistical subroutines.
• SoundRec - records sound, lets you export sound files.
• Splash ID - supposedly free with the Treo, but Sprint doesn't include it.
• Splash Shopper - m130 carry over. Paid to have packing and shopping checklists along for the ride.
• To do list - native app, not used much because I use a Franklin-Covey paper planner. Maybe someday, but iCal to-do's are still less than intuitive.
• Today - Mapped to my right-hand screen button, and it has a 5-9 app graphical launcher, depending on how you set it up. Nice.
• Web - the native Blazer browser. I remember Netscape 1.5, AOL 1.0, text browsers, and with all that's happend since then, this app works great.

• Date Mate - track birthdays etc. You can do this from the regular datebook with recurring appointments. This program can post reminders a few days in advance. New Zodiac feature is weird.
• FineType - font manager that came/works with WordSmith.
• Happy Days - Anniversary & birthday tracking software. Removed because it makes the "Find More" function crash.
• eReader - nice but a distraction. Some great free book sites out there. Pro features disabled after 15 days.
• Word Smith - still evaluating (also tried on m130 two years ago).

Reference

• ChemTable - Periodic Table of elements, in color. Comes in handy.
• Converter - m130 standard. Free and it converts shoe sizes. And other things.
• Electrist - Reference and conversion for electricians
• TrueTerm - Languge translator. I really have no idea where I got this, but it is hella useful.
