Incentives Suggestions:

  1. Purchase $5 / $10 coffee cards to reward employees for completing tasks. 
  2. Develop a “catch ‘em being good” program and hand out tokens each time an employee completes an assigned task on time.  Hand out two tokens for completing assigned tasks early.  Use a recognition system (employee of the month?) or reward system (restaurant, movie theatre, leave 15 minutes early, extra half day off, etc.)
  3. Organize a competition.  Have employees develop and present their time management strategies.  Provide a prize for best strategy, then “Try it On!”
  4. Incorporate time management and use of time rating schemes in to employee performance reviews.  Hold period counseling sessions with employees to let them know how well they are using their time.
  5. Make certain that the tasks are evenly distributed between employees and monitor to insure that an employee who completes assigned tasks does not lose commissions compared to employees who do not complete assigned tasks.
  6. Create a tracking chart to monitor tasks assigned to employees.  Monitor to make certain tasks are equally distributed between employees of the same job title.
  7. Use different recognition/reward systems for individual work and team work. 
  8. Have employees write success stories of projects that were managed well.  Select the best example each week/month/quarter and post in a prominent place.  Take a photo of the employee and frame it next to their success story.
